Jack Lambert

Did Lambert ever have a role where he was a normal person and not a sadistic killer?

I have seen him in westerns too but always a shady character.

He was not leading man material for sure, but I thought he was a decent actor.

Some Noir villains are typecast forever, no matter how hard they try to escape.

In The Great Gatsby (1949),  he was fairly 'normal'.   But yea,  he was clearly a heavy in 99% of his films.

Not to be confused with Jack Lambert, who played linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was said to be so mean he didn't even like himself.
