Cinco Días Sin Nora is an excellent, very funny dark comedy. Fernando Luján, who died earlier this year, gives the best performance of his career.

My top FF of 2008 was Mesrine directed by Jean-Francois Richet.  It is really two two-hour films both released in 2008: Mesrine: Killer Instinct and Mesrine: Public Enemy #1.  Vincent Cassel is excellent in the title role as Jacques Mesrine the real-life ruthless gangster who begins his robbery career in France then ends up in Canada.
