Three Men and a Cradle (1985) by Coline Serreau was amusing enough to have inspired the Tom Selleck quick remake Three Men and a Baby (1987).

Sugarbaby (1985) Percy Aldon, Germany.  Queen-sized Marianne Sagebrercht is the whole film as she finds love in this rom-com.  One of my runner-ups.  Not as good as it might have been.

The Woman and the Stranger (1985) by Rainer Simon is an East German film that takes place in WWI.  Two men are in a POW camp.  One who is enamoured by the other's romantic stories of his wife manages to escape.  He looks up the man's wife and tells her that her husband is dead.  She offers him space to live temporarily then they soon become lovers.  If you think you've seen this before you just may have.  It is from a novel by Leonard Frank which was originally filmed in 1928 as Homecoming.  In 1947 it was made in Hollywood as Desire Me with Greer Garson and Robert Mitchum.

Things go from bad to worse for Maribel Guardia in Luis Alcorziza's Mexican Terror and Black Lace (1985).  She is already in an abusive marriage when a sex maniac in her building targets her.  This is essentially a stalker/slasher film that managed to get some acting awards at the Ariels.

I was going to post about Le Rayon Vert, but now I can do so in response to your post, Skimpole. I'm a huge Rohmer fan, but Le Rayon Vert is I think one of my least favorite of his films. At this point, I don't even remember much about the film, just that I was surprised that I could dislike a Rohmer film. I do however love another of his films with summer in the title: A Summer's Tale, part of the Four Seasons series.
