It isn't a matter of caring.  (because you have no idea what they are thinking and therefore what they 'care' about).

It is a question of politics.

They supposedly care about following the ten commandments. I guess

the emphasis is on supposedly.

Porn stars - corn stars.

When this is over with, there will be something else to nitpick about, Trump didn't eat his cereal as a child.

There are a significant number of Christians who think, or pretend to think, that they should

not be practical, that this world is of secondary importance to the next one. So they should

reject Trump out of hand, but they obviously haven't. The evangelical "brand" is really taking a

beating, at least among some people.

When I said practical I meant as it relates to politics;  The so called moral majority has been very practical when it comes to politics and followed a means to and end strategy.

Like I said they should have rejected Trump out of hand during the GOP primary.   But once given a choice between Clinton and Trump,  voting for Trump was way more likely to improve their chances of implementing things that were important to them, such as a religious conservative on the Supreme Court (which did happen).

I guess you and others have never heard of the saying 'politics makes strange bedfellows".

Of course these Christians are total hypocrites.   Duh.    But Trump has done things for their cause that Clinton would have never done.   Case closed.

You got to put yourself in other people's place some time. I think the idea is called having empathy.

If somebody had done that to your sister, would you say the same thing-- just an idle threat?

If you believe what she said,  it did sound extremely frightening, especially for a young mother with her infant daughter in tow.

It wouldn't surprise me if that threat occurred.   Trump's lawyer had paid $130K to keep here silent and she willingly took the money and signed the NDA.   So as it relates to "You got to put yourself in other people's place some time",   it is only understandable that Trump and his lawyer would be very upset that she was reneging on the deal she made.    BUT in no way does that justify any threat.

Trump never should have trusted her in the first place and just let her talk about their 'relationship'.  I mean, really,  Trump having sex with other women?    I don't understand why he would wish to hide what was obvious to anyone with eyes.

Well, politics would include worldly things, which some Christians shy away from.

And of course some don't shy away. But many have been harping on the personal

morality of politicians for so long that they now look foolish supporting Trump,

whatever his policies. Of course most people have heard that politics makes strange

bedfellows and of course Trump would advance their cause much more than Clinton.

Maybe I have higher expectations of evangelicals than they do of themselves.

Getting those pants down is what got him into trouble.

Stormy Daniels describes her alleged affair with Donald Trump

She said it happened on July 2006 following a celebrity golf tournament at Lake Tahoe.

Didn't say during the climax she yelled FORE!

(of course Donald will claim it was a hole in one.)

Like I said they are hypocrites.   They typically only harp on the personal morality of Dem politicians.

America wanted to hear what Stormy Daniels had to say.

She was a credible Witness and has found a lot of Goodwill online.

Good to see that porn-stars are viewed in a positive light by women.   See,  Trump does make good things happen.

These may be the most important parts of Stormy Daniels's new lawsuit. In black and white, she and her attorney are claiming that President Trump misused funds and broke the law to pay her to keep quiet.

Is he the one who beat up his wife and/ or went with Hope Hicks?

I'm going to have to get my White House staff score card out to remember all these names.

When somebody mentions comebacks the only person I usually think of is Scaramucci. For some reason his name always comes up first in my mind.
