Damascus chemical facilities bombed by France, UK, United States

Even Trump's most die hard fans like Alex Jones are cursing him out right now. Trump's approval rating may be negative at this point.

oh. than you believe that trump has more guts then your hated obama?

:)

No, it's not about "guts." This isn't a **** contest between two idiots. Trump and Obama are two giant steaming piles of ****. There isn't even any proof that Assad gassed anyone. Alex Jones is actually right when he calls this "complete horse manure."

I doan even listen to this alex jones you mention...but you should at least appreciate that trump has the cajones to use our own military might while obama was just too much of a chicken bleep 99.9% of the time to even consider it.

This isn't middle school. Get your head out of your butt. Trump didn't prove Assad did anything and yet he bombed them anyways. This may start WWIII and leave the US army in a pool of blood. Trump may start a war and kill thousands of his own men but it won't matter to him.

Man of courage when his own rear isn't on the line. When it is, Donny's just

a yellow-bellied coward. Hey, the English and French are all in, trying to relive

their glory days. They've killed more innocent folks that Assad could ever

hope to. My favorite line, Will we ever have good relations with the Russians

and Iranians again? Maybe, maybe not.

Check it out and retweet: 88 members of US Congress demand no attack on Syria without Congressional authorization, as per US Constitution & War Powers Act.

Letter cites 2013 when Congress stopped Obama from bombing Syria. Will big media cover this? https://lofgren.house.gov/uploadedfiles/letter_to_potus_aumf_2018.2.pdf

You mean blackmail?  Be nice to me or I'll blow up the whole f****** planet?   (Unlike with Pruitt and doing it one coal mine, offshore drilling, frack operation or poisoned waterway at a time.)

Trump’s Strike Won’t Serve Syrians Or The U.S.

A military response to Assad’s latest use of chemical weapons is unlikely to prevent more killing or diminish the influence of Russia and Iran.

"....With Trump broadcasting his intentions for days, Assad has already relocated the air force that carried out the attack last weekend, according to military experts at the Institute for the Study of War. His forces have also reportedly evacuated personnel from some Syrian government buildings where military systems like chemical weapons are being developed. Those troops and resources have been moved to central locations that the U.S. and its allies won’t be able to target without prompting a larger confrontation with Russia and Iran.

Pentagon officials told The New York Times that even if Syrian aircraft cannot be hit, the U.S. could damage airfields and make it impossible to use them for future similar attacks. On Friday night, officials said the U.S., France and Britain hit a research site, a command post and a store of chemical weapons. But such facilities are easily rebuilt. After the U.S. struck Assad’s Shayrat airfield in retaliation for a chemical attack on the town of Khan Sheikhoun last year, the base was back up and running within hours....

.... Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.), the powerful ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee ―

“The President’s erratic tweets referencing Syria have left both our allies and our adversaries confused about his policy. These tweets have also made very clear that the President has no strategy for how to combat Assad’s atrocities against his own people,” Smith said in a Friday statement.

“I am opposed to military action against Assad,” he added. “It is not clear that military action will improve the situation for the Syrian people. It will be insufficient to remove Assad from power, and will only make the situation worse.”

Syrian air defenses shot down 13 missiles: state TV

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Syrian air defenses shot down 13 missiles fired in a U.S.-led attack on the country on Saturday, Syrian state TV said.

It said the missiles had been shot down in the Kiswah area south of Damascus, the capital.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a total of three scientific research centers had been hit in the attacks - two in Damascus and one in the Homs area - in addition to military bases in Damascus.

The Observatory said all the bases and facilities struck in the attack had been evacuated by the Syrian government earlier this week.

Pentagon reporter points out that Assad has been using chemical weapons on a regular basis so why attack now? Mattis has no real answer.

In addition to the US attack being unconstitutional, the Pentagon has no real strategy in Syria.

Last year's strike did not deter Assad. Why would this strike?

And since @realDonaldTrump stated that US will not stay in Syria, the Russians, Iran & Assad can just wait us out.

Trump supporters rip decision to strike Syria-

"....“We lost. War machine bombs syria. No evidence Assad did it. Sad warmongers hijacking our nation,” tweeted conservative author and radio host Michael Savage. Savage also posted a video discussing the missile strikes, tearing into Trump’s decision.

There was a clear sense of disappointment among a certain strand of Trump supporter as the president announced a “precision strike” against the regime of Bashar Assad on Friday in response to a suspected chemical weapons attack last week.

The anguish came from supporters who latched on to Trump’s “America first” promise during the campaign. They argued that Trump’s decision undermined his promise to disentangle the U.S. from global conflicts, saying it reeked of the same old, same old.

“Donald Bush,” tweeted Mike Cernovich, a conservative author and once a staunch supporter of Trump.

“Congratulations to the Trump administration for adopting the same failed foreign policy and ignoring of the constitution as the last two administrations,” tweeted Doug Stafford, a strategist for Sen. Rand Paul’s RANDPAC.

Conservative author Ann Coulter retweeted a series of people questioning military action in Syria — as well as past tweets from Trump himself. Before his presidential bid, Trump argued former President Barack Obama would be foolish to take any action in Syria.

Coulter also quoted a news story about former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe promising he could beat Trump if he ran against him and tweeted, “You might – if you promised no more “stupid wars.”".......
