Lasted long enough that was from *What's New. Pussycat?* (1965) First Guy was Peter Sellers;

Second Guy was Woody Allen.

Another quote:

"You know why they don't write good roles for women anymore? They would have to hire

_actresses_ to play them!"

Who? What film?

Again, 24 hours is enough. That was said by Dudley Moore to Mary Steenburgen when they

played a scriptwriting team who wrote romantic comedies in a film called *Romantic Comedy*.

I don't know how many are logging on here lately, so I'll try keeping count. At View # 775, I want to try another scrap of scripted conversation:

_1st Guy_ "Did you find a job?"

_2nd Guy_ "Yeah. I got something at the striptease. I help the girls dress and undress."

_1st Guy_ "Nice job."

_2nd Guy_ "Twenty francs a week."

_1st Guy_ "Not very much."

_2nd Guy_ "Its all I could afford."

Who? What film?

I returned to *What's New, Pussycat?* for this one. 1st Guy was Peter O'Toole; 2nd Guy was

scripter Woody Allen. (Could this material be anybody else's?)

At 28 Views, I'll try one more before giving this up for a while. Again, dialogue:

_She_: "I hate cops. Don't you hate cops?"

_He_ : "Noooo, but I do seem to feel better when they're not around."

Who? Film?

At only four more Views, nobody is even reading these questions, much less answering.

The conversation about cops was between Faye Dunaway and Mickey Rourke in Barfly.

Mid - 50s:

"You were right not to take that commission. Don't _ever_ take it! If you do I hope you get your

By typing "Abbott & Costello" you've correctly identified half of the title. Close enough for me. The movie was "Abbott & Costello Meet the Mummy". Your thread, Duffys.

Man 1: Bourbon. A pint should do.

Man 2: I'll join you.

Man 1: Then you'd better make it a quart.

Additional clue: When Man 2 leaves to fetch the liquor, Man 1 escapes.

Additional clue 2: Man 1 is not a villian and Man 2 is not a cop. He works for the "FBI, CIA, ONI... we're all in the same alphabet soup."

Additional Clue 3: I mentioned that TCM shows this classic movie frequently. They have aired it again since the time that I originally posed this quiz (which was 9:07pm Feb 23rd).
