"Hold Your Head Up" was a cool song. I have the long version from itunes. I think they were a one hit wonder though there may have been more than one album.

 

A song I thought had the best use of a banjo in a pop/country type song was -

 

 

 

(I have no idea why that popped into my head except I always thought it a good song. Lyrically I liked the short rhyming phrases.)

I don't know why, but when you said banjo, this song popped into my mind. Not as country banjo-ey as Carolina in the Pines, but.....

The meaning of the song to me means dreaming is ok but you gotta get up in the morning and smell the coffee, too...
