The Backlash

32 posts in this topic

There are those in this country who do not believe in the Bill of Rights.

There are those in this country who do not want all citizens to have equal and fair rights.

There are those in this country who believe that the environment and the economy exists just so they can rape it.

Today we see many of these backlash people rising up to maintain or promote or support an Un- American way of life that is clearly unconstitutional.

Financially supported by billionaires and emotionally supported by poorly educated bigots, this backlash has always been with us, but for the first time it's actually being primarily directed from the Oval Office.

Those working in the Oval Office are aiding and abetting all of this Un- American activity because in some way it must personally

 benefit them.

Aiding and abetting a foreign government's interference in the American electoral process can be characterized as nothing except treason.

Treason is not an option for Patriotic Americans.

FACT: 91 years ago on Memorial Day, The President's father, Fred Trump, was arrested in New York at a Ku Klux Klan riot. #MemorialDay

And $500 was not Pocket Change in 1927.

Today Fred Trump's bail would have amounted to approximately $7,000. So his charge must have been rather serious to Warrant that kind of necessary bail.

What can you say about a veteran senator who is complicit in keeping a president in office whom he reportedly feels is not only incompetent, but Dangerously out of control?

I would have to say that Senator has some personal benefit in maintaining this sick status quo, which he places above the welfare of the nation.

America’s Taliban,

The Council for National Policy (to which belong Kellyanne, Bannon, the DeVos family, the Mercers, Pence, Ken Blackwell, and two men whose families funded the largest voting machine vendor in the U.S.) has set a deadline of 2020 for restoring “religion and economic freedom and Judeo-Christian values” under the Constitution.

  1. “The Council for National Policy (CNP), is an umbrella organization and networking group for social [anti-abortion, anti-gay] conservative activists in the United States. … Nation magazine has called it a secretive organization that ‘networks wealthy right-wing donors together with top conservative operatives to plan long-term movement strategy.’” http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/council-for-national-policy/

3. The New York Times has called the CNP “a little known club of a few hundred of the most powerful conservatives in the country…”

????

Aren't those who are NOT among the wealthiest 1% of this nation's population equally  as hard pressed to cover our tax "obligation" and make ends meet?  OR fear some serious hardship(s) that are more devastating than being caught driving LAST YEAR'S LINCOLN?  :o

And too, the right fears this concept voiced long ago by the "visionary" OSCAR LEVANT:

"The difference between democrats and repubilcans is that democrats think that the poor  should be allowed to be corrupt TOO!"  :D

And that's why the 1st Amendment is freedom of the press.

Whoever would seek to destroy the freedom of the press in the United States is

The Real Enemy of the People.

What I say when people ask me why so many former intelligence officers are speaking out. “For many of us, keeping our mouths shut about what we see in our own country would be akin to not alerting our government to a threat from abroad.”

I think it as Honorable to the government neither to know, nor to notice its sycophants or censors, as it would be undignified and Criminal to pamper the former and persecute the latter."
