And again, not noticing, was there mention of JULIE ANDREW'S topless SCENE in S.O.B.?  And would it count as a "nude" scene?

She shouldn't count since one, we were limiting it to American/Hollywood actresses and two we know there was no Motion Picture Production Code in Europe so that's why we are disregarding European productions.

Must be Olivia, since Andrews IS and WAS an "American/Hollywood actress", although being British by origin.

You should have split these hairs from jump, and NOT keep changing the thread's supposed intent on the fly.   

The idea being to PREVENT the need for later explanations, and NOT "bob and weave" with excuses to try and avoid embarrassment .

A recent (as of 1960) Playboy cover model was the "body" in the shower scene in Psycho.  She was much more comfortable being naked in front of the crew than Janet Leigh.  It's a body double, just like Maureen O'Sullivan in Tarzan.

Surprised that no one has mentioned Renee Adoree in The Mating Call (1928).  She jumps into a lake naked and we see everything for about a second.  TCM showed this years back when they had an evening of movies that Howard Hughes produced.

CLAUDETTE COLBERT takes a bath in both THE SIGN OF THE CROSS 1932 AND CLEOPATRA 1934.  Both are pre code films.  In THE SIGN OF THE CROSS she takes a bath in **** milk, which is a sign of decadence through eyes of the director CECIL D.MILLE.

Supposedly Janet wore moleskin over strategic areas, but I believe she even mentions in an interview that it slipped off at one point where she slumps over the edge of the tub and onto the floor. 

We are not talking porn here, just artistically depicted nudity. I'm not sticking this stuff under a microscope. 😎
