5 Supporting Players Make The Movie

105 posts in this topic

We all love the stars and we all have our favorite star.

But where would our favorite movie be without all the great supporting actors and actresses.

They not only make the star look good but, often just run away with the whole show.

You'll see the names of 5 supporting players listed.

Then your job will be to name a movie where all 5 appeared.

There could be more than one right answer.

Example :

Peter Lorre

Dooley Wilson

Stanley Greenstreet

S Z Sakall

Conrad Veidt

Response:

Casablanca

Seven Sinners

Devine and Treacher are not in SEVEN SINNERS.

The film I had in mind was released by Universal in 1947.

But if there's another film with all five, that would be fine too.

I wanted to bump this thread for shutoo (or as Kanye would say, "shutoo, I'm gonna let you finish ...."), but how about making it official to play the game this way, which it seems to have already touched upon unofficially?

List five stars who are in a single movie; the guesser on the alternating turn lists five movies that had a single star; and with the next guesser the process repeats.

I just created this thread as a companion thread to the all 5 movies.

Unfortunately I made a mistake and thought I was on that thread.

So I can appreciate your confusion.

But this thread is a continuation of a thread that we had 10 years ago. I believe it was called name  the cast from this classic movie . I liked it so much that I brought it back and gave it another name.

So according to the o p,  now Shutoo needs to give us five actresses or actors who were supporting players in a classic movie.

So to clarify, you are backing up what I said, except I left out "supporting". That is...

shutoo will offer five supporting players in one movie; the guesser will offer five movies with a shared supporting player (as you did with the five movies Gail Patrick was in), and the next guesser starts it over.

I think this game is intended to be five supporting players in one movie.

Someone guesses the movie (there might even be more than one correct answer). Then that person lists another five supporting players in another movie.

The game continues forward.

I think the OP is clear as to what the game is.

If you wish to create another game on another thread, you are free to do so.

 *Shutoo is up next.....
