This is the language of authoritarian despots: advocating the stripping of basic constitutional rights from a class of people, turning the judicial power over to law enforcement. <And the nation shrugs>.

The Doofus might melt with rainwater.  Remember how he disgraced himself a few months ago when he refused to go lay a wreath to commemorate our WW1 veterans because there was a drizzle.  Or maybe the effing moron thinks the remaining hair dye and the Orange make up might run.  Shameless pathetic fool in any case.

Trump uses the words infest, breed, and invade to refer to immigrants. He calls asylum seekers animals. Nazis referred to Jews as “rats.” Hutu leaders in Rwanda called Tutsis “cockroaches.” Slaves were “stock.” Dehumanizing language paves the way for atrocities.

The Totalitarian dictator of the Third Reich, Hitler, dehumanized the Jewish people with vile language to pave the way for the Holocaust.

shrugs over what? Chicago with an out of control black on black homicide rate or Detroit being a pesthole like many other inner city urban areas due to 40 years of liberal social policies?

maybe if some liberal with any guts HAD turned the judicial over to the cops this would not be so? you liberals expect people to put themselves on the chopping block forever. cute.

If the precedent Mr. Obama has created is allowed to stand, future presidents who do not like what the Justice Department is telling them could simply cite the example of Mr. Obama’s war in Libya and instruct the White House counsel to organize a supportive “coalition of the willing” made up of the administration’s top lawyers. Even if just one or two agreed, this would be enough to push ahead and claim that the law was on the president’s side.

Allowing the trivialization of the War Powers Act to stand will open the way for even more blatant acts of presidential war-making in the decades ahead. Congress must confront the increasingly politicized methods White House lawyers are using to circumvent established law and stop them from transforming it into an infinitely malleable instrument of presidential power.

If Congress does not act, the Constitution’s command that the president “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed” will become nothing more than an unfulfilled hope on an old piece of parchment.

FYI.......

"....The Nazi Party used propaganda to develop a cult of personality around Hitler.[6]

Top officials reported to Hitler and followed his policies, but they had considerable autonomy. Officials were expected to "work towards the Führer" – to take the initiative in promoting policies and actions in line with his wishes and the goals of the Nazi Party, without Hitler having to be involved in the day-to-day running of the country.[7] He often deferred making decisions, avoided clear delegation and allowed subordinates to compete with one another, especially in the pre-war years. The government was not a coordinated, co-operating body, but rather a disorganised collection of factions led by members of the party elite who struggled to amass power and gain the Führer's favour.[8]

The system of government was formed whereby leading Nazi officials were forced to interpret Hitler's speeches, remarks and writings on government policies and turn them into programs and legislation. Hitler typically did not give written orders; instead he communicated them verbally......

Hitler's leadership style was to give contradictory orders to his subordinates and to place them into positions where their duties and responsibilities overlapped with those of others, to have "the stronger one [do] the job".[12] In this way, Hitler fostered distrust, competition, and infighting among his subordinates to consolidate and maximise his own power.[13]

The process allowed more unscrupulous and ambitious Nazis to get away with implementing the more radical and extreme elements of Hitler's ideology, such as antisemitism, and in doing so win political favour....

It was protected by Joseph Goebbels' effective propaganda machine, which portrayed Hitler as a heroic and infallible leader.[

Further, the government was portrayed as a dedicated, dutiful and efficient outfit. ...."

Still breathtaking: The president of the United States, after not being prosecuted and as the attorney general begins a probe into people he has identified as his political enemies, judging those people guilty of treason while standing on the lawn of the White House.

Dictators         ALWAYS       Target their legitimate political opposition as enemies to be harassed, arrested, thrown out of the country or, unfortunately in many cases, assassinated or executed.

This is totalitarian Doctrine-- legitimate political opposition is to be totally and completely annihilated. And that starts with the dehumanization of the illegitimate political opposition.

Ha. How many ~democratic~ dictators down through history, can you name? When you got a dictator problem ...thank a conservative!

Follow-up questions: how many beloved Republican leaders have ever been gunned down by crazed democratic assassins wielding sniper rifles? How many elections ever had to be stolen or rigged ...by unscrupulous democrats?

Not only has the Trump administration eliminated the daily White House briefing, it has gotten rid of them in other areas of gov't as well.

Dictators want to control information about their governmental activities. Secrecy allows them to break laws, ignore laws and lie to the people about their real activities.

A Free Press/Media cannot exist if it does not have access to the government.

.@POTUS is (again) going around Congress—this time to unilaterally approve billions in arms sales, including to the brutal Saudi regime. Congress must reclaim its powers. When will the legislative branch stand up to the executive branch?

Fot trump to become a dictator he has to First make Congress illegitimate. And he's doing that with attacks against Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. He also seeks to accomplish that by ignoring the subpoena power of the House of Representatives. He advises his appointees just to ignore those subpoenas, trying to make the house look impotent.

As a dictator he would not have to seek any kind of approval for selling arms to any country. And that is his goal.

Could Trump Trump is the first u.s. president to give International legitimacy

D7f-L8PWsAE1iYT.jpg

trump is the first US president to give International legitimacy to the brutal and ruthless dictator of North Korea.

You might ask, why is this?

trump idolizes dictators like the one in North Korea and is being mentored by the one in Russia.

trump has no respect for his oath of office, the Constitution, or the Democratic rights of the American people.

A dictator will utilize all of the instruments of his office to delegitimize and annihilate his legitimate political opposition and oversight in any way possible.

That could include anything from deportation, framing for a crime, incarceration, execution, and or assassination.

Oversight is the Constitutional duty of Congress in relationship to the executive branch.

A dictator has no respect for the regulations of any legitimate law, which would include a federal constitution.
