*Great googly moogly!*

You are remembering to breathe, right?

I worry that all these gams can be overwhelming.

*I worry that all these gams can be overwhelming.* - lzcutter

I'm close to death now. But I'm overwhelmed with guilt that your stocking isn't chock-full of posters of John Wayne and Randolph Scott wearing little more than boots, gunbelts, and hats.

Thanks, Kyle.

Pat,

Don't be. Just enjoy the gams! I'm confident that "Santa" will provide for not only me but many other regulars as well. Right now "Santa" has you in his sights. Enjoy!

Chief,

Maybe it's just me but those Hays Office posters are creepy! Interesting but creepy.

*Interesting but creepy.* - lzcutter

I love the imagery, but the message seems a little propaganda-ish. But in the depth of the Depression, it probably worked to get people into the theaters.

*"I love the imagery, but the message seems a little propaganda-ish."* - patful

You're right. It is meant to be propaganda. The "Hays Office" was the enforcer of the Motion Picture Production Code. It was their job to promote the "wholesome" values of motion pictures.

But I'm glad you are speaking in full sentences again. "Googly Moogly"? I thought I had gone too far and sent you into a jibberish-mumbling stupor.

It was nice of you to be considerate of lzcutter' but I don't think she gets all that excited over "boots and a belt". But let's see...
