Voting Thread for the 15th Program Challenge

106 posts in this topic

lzcutter, thanks for doing a great job hosting the challenge. Would you please send me a private message so that I can respond with a private vote? That's the only way it seems to work for me.

King,

A PM should be on its way to you!

Thanks to you and everyone for the kind words about moderating this Challenge. I have really enjoyed doing it.

Thank you for voting for me Capuchin.

I think it is fair to tell every one we know each other. He would vote for me if my schedule is the worse.

I like all the schedules. I am very impressed. It is a good thing I register too late to vote. It would be hard to chose the best.

I believe the rules have traditionally allowed anybody who submits a schedule to vote.

Now I have to go back and look at all the other schedules to see which one I should vote for.

audreyforever, the host of the Challenge does not send a PM to the contests normally. That was just something Cinemaven did in the last one. As soon as the voting starts on a Challenge, people just vote here in the thread or, if they wish to be private, they send a PM to the host. The host doesn't usually send the contestants a PM to vote. For example, I can vote here right now as can you. (I am still studying the different schedules.)

As a reminder, all who entered the contest are eligible to vote, AND all members of the TCM website (as long as they were registered on or before December 1, 2009) can also vote for their favorite schedule.

Filmlover,

Thank you for answering Audrey's questions. It's been a couple of groggy days for me.

Just wanted to bump this up to remind everyone, contestants and posters, that the Voting Booth is open until Midnight on Wednesday, so feel free to vote here in the thread or send me a PM with your vote;

Either way works fine and the most important thing is to Vote!

hey, LZ, can we get a running tally of the votes, just out of curiosity? Unless you don't think that's kosher.

And a big THANK YOU, lz, for running the whole challenge. :)

LP,

We have so far, vote wise (with Holly's vote):

2 for Audreyforever (including Holly's vote directly above)

1 for Sansfin

1 for Fedya

1 for Filmlover

Come on folks, it's not too late to do your part! Vote for one of these great schedules. The participants put a lot of heart and sweat into and even TCMProgrammr has taken note of the creative schedules.

Voting can be done in this thread or by PM. Either way, Vote. It's the community thing to do.

Sansfin, as a participant, you most certainly can vote.

As for the community, if you are a registered member of the message boards (on or before Dec. 1st, 2009), you can vote.

Show these guys and gals some love. Vote.

That is all.

I'm going to have to vote for Lonesome Polecat. I'm a sucker for those unified week-long schedules, having done a number of them myself.

If I am allowed to vote:

This is very hard. All were very good. You are all to be congratulated.

I think it is a tie between CountessDelave and LonesomePolecat. I would much like to watch both. I must weigh between Ann Dvorak and Jim Henson and Miyazaki. I know Capuchin liked one schedule a trifle more than the other. He wasted his vote on me to make me feel welcome here.

My vote is for: *CountessDelave*
