Your favorite stars from the MIDWEST?

20 posts in this topic

Well, this is kind of like the one with the favorite stars from the South.

The only ones from the Midwest I can think of are Judy Garland (Minnesota) and Marlon Brando (Nebraska).

Can anyone help me with the ones I didn't think of?

Nebraska is a gold mine for classic movie stars.

If I'm not mistaken, Marlon Brando, Fred Astaire, Henry Fonda, Montgomery Clift and Robert Taylor were all from there!

As Jef mentioned earlier, this month's Star of the Month Robert Taylor was also from the Midwest.

Here's looking forward to the reminder of the Robert Taylor movies being shown this Wednesday and next as part of the SOTM tribute! :D
