THE BIG HAIR THREAD....

Don't forget Ann "Oomph Girl" Sheridan in her last Summer Under The Stars tribute film--

*The Opposite Sex* at 4 a.m. EST--Lots of Poufy Do's and Don'ts, Great Fashion Statements

from the early 50's, and Joan Collins at her pre-Alexis best. Plus cutie Carolyn Jones

before she darkened her roots for Morticia, Agnes Moorehead in stunning togs spouting

silly lines, and ANN SHERIDAN AT HER MOST STUNNING...

UP NEXT---One of my favorite actors, Walter Pidgeon...

Katherine Hepburn's Day is Friday and stylishly speaking, she could be ready for "almost any occasion", rally she could:

SueSue, you also have to love Joan Crawford's helmet hair in THE CARETAKERS. In her first scene I thought she was wearing a hat or snood or head covering of some kind. This is truly a bizarre hairdo.

OOPS! There was some sort of glitch. John Lithgow interrupted Ben Kingsley to intro

Swiss Family Robinson. And now, Gandhi is back on.

Hopefully, Swiss Family Robinson with air at 7 p,m. CST...

John Mills day continues, uninterrupted by John Mills day... :)

Hey sue2! I've been loving the Annie pics!

I am finally getting caught up on my threads, and I think these hairstyles of Ona Munson's are worth a look:

John Gilbert Day, Tuesday, deserves plenty of attention. Read this great interview The Lady Eve

had with Leatrice Gilbert Fountain, John Gilbert's daughter, whose short interview is currently being

shown on Turner Classic Movies, by following this link:

SueSue - Thanks for posting a link to my blog. So happy you liked it (and Jack Favell, too). Just a few hours till John Gilbert's day begins and I'm counting on my DVR not to fail me now! You picked and posted some great photos, by the way. Gagman66 has put up a John Gilbert slide show with music at CFU that you might like, too.

Say Sue (x2)...isn't that picture way below, a picture of Osa Massen not Ona Munsen??

The pix of Elizabeth Taylor are lovely...especially the one of her in that yellow blouse.

In movies like A Place In The Sun Liz looked great but I just don't like that 60s big hair look. Maybe because her hair was styled too much like my moms was while I was growing up???? But that big round head of hair just doesn't do it for me.

I like the 40's and early 50's style.

I liked those styles more, too, James. But Big Hair is so much fun!

Yes, Cinemava, that is not Ona Munson. But it was labeled Ona Munson.

Do forgive.
