THAT is some crazy hair! And such a contrast to Gene Tierney's lovely, tasteful upswept 'do, though all the ladies (and I use the term loosely) in that film benefitted from von Sterberg's diffused lighting.

Thanks traceyk65 and Jack Favell!

And here's some lovely photos of Gloria Stuart...

Hope I have a road to roam that lasts as long as a 100 years!

What a gal...

I was hoping someone would revive this thread. This is related to a TV commercial.

Pittsburg Steelers, Troy Polamalu in the Head and Shoulders commercial. This big hair is insured for $1 million dollars! LOL!

That color shot of Ava is to die for! Jean Simmons is a dream. I love the football player's hair. I could lost in there for days. Finally, we can solve the Jimmy Hoffa mystery. Bujold's a cutie. Love your thread SueSue.

Shirley is mainly known for her no-nonsense pixie-doo, but she is in an Oscar-winning project filmed in Texas on TCM tonight....

I think this was around the time *The Trouble With Harry* was filmed with Hitchcock and John Forsythe. She looked so waif-like yet troubled in this shot, I just had to include it. It is precious.

There is such a twinkle in those pair of eyes...was something going on here?
