Yay! Metz, I can see your photos now!

What happened was that the message board was "upgraded" several months ago, and the new RICH TEXT thing was added, but it will not take copies and pastes very well, so I have to use the PLAIN TEXT box to post all my photos, since I copy and paste all the URL addresses and their codes.

That might have been what caused your earlier problems.

But now I see that you are able to post photos again.

I don't usually play this photo-ID game because I never can remember the names of all the old obscure actors. I'm 70 years old myself, and my memory ain't what it used to be. :)

I know!

But to give someone else a chance, I'll wait and answer later of nobody gets it.

But, a hint:

The shot is from a short, not a feaure, and it originally wasn't in color.

The man in the hat is Charles Middleton. I posted about him recently in another thread. He played Abe Lincoln several times, as well as Lincoln's father in "Abe Lincoln In Illinois", but he is best remembered as Ming The Merciless in the Flash Gordon serials. By the way, this is my first post in a while. I lost power for several days due to Hurricane Sandy and things got really backed up at work. Lots of people in the northeast are still without power and will be for some time to come

This charming gent (since nobody else has identified him) is Rychard Cramer from a colorized print of the 1932 Laurel & Hardy short SCRAM!
