Valmont was SOOOOO slow. I can see why it flopped. (I hadnt seen it before) Dangerous Liasons (which beat it to the box office and I did see) was much better.

I saw both of these movies when I was in college, but I saw Dangerous Liasons first, and I'm sure that prejudiced me. I thought Valmont was all right, but it is definitely funereally paced, while DL has many sharp, punchy, highly dramatic and engrossing moments. Sorry, Milos Forman, because I love so much of the rest of your career!

I see a couple different comments online where it was scheduled to air for Dec 2008 on TCM and then retracted.  One other comment indicates it has aired on PBS.  Do you have a TCM logo on the bottom right on your copy?  Not much info on this one.

Based on MovieCollectorOH's latest update, TCM has changed the schedule for late hours on December 21:

- Waikiki Wedding (1937) (scheduled premiere) has been replaced with Top Hat (1935) (not a premiere).

I have updated the list of December premieres above with the change.

Thanks again MCOH for your reports.

MovieCollectorOH is there a search feature on your lists?

Just go to the web page and press the key combination Ctrl + F on your keyboard ('text search within web page' feature on most browsers).  In Firefox this will bring up a little search bar on the bottom of the window.  You can type parts of a title or name, but whatever you do type needs correct spelling.
