Haunted Gold (1932)

The Maltese Falcon (1931) and possibly (1941)

There is one thing these two films have in common.. do you know what that is?

Yes, Edythe. From today's Schedule Page, expand Haunted House and read Leonard Maltin's review. Now, by "the original Maltese Falcon" I presume he means the one used in the 1931 film - not sure if this was the same one used in 1941.

:)

Good work

Not fade...it is always fun to learn on these boards.

What characteristic do Gone with Wind and Rebecca have in common (aside from Mr O'Selznick)  ??

Hint: The common trait of these 2 films may apply to others but these 2 were especially well-known for a behind-the-scenes record of sorts...think leading lady ??

This thread didn't seem to catch on. GWTW and Rebecca shared the distinction of having the most actresses screen test for the lead roles..many of them the same actresses for both.
