I recognized your first photo within about 30 seconds, but I didn't post the title.I thought I would give someone else a chance.

I saw this movie only once and found it very boring. I don't know why I remembered the photo so quickly. And I recognized that actor on the right in the first shot, from the rear shot of him. Looks just like him. :)

Most of the scenes in this film are distinctive. I, too, was bored with much of it and found it difficult to follow in spots, then other areas were very entertaining. I wouldn't recommend this to most viewers.

Have you seen the film Brazil? This film reminds me of it.

Ha!

That one took me about 2 minutes to find.

I search for clues.

The photo suggested "rustic", so I looked for his rustic films. I found 2 and the 2nd one was it.

:)

However, since I found it so fast, I'll let someone else name it.

(It took me 3 hours to find The Hitch-Hiker, and I finally identified it by the 1952 Dodge Convertible, but that took a whole lot of searching, since there were many films with hitch hikers in them, and we see this particular car only briefly.)

Hi Fred,

It is certainly a pleasure to watch you in action like this. I would like it if more of us had these skills as it would, I am sure, make this more fun for all. Going through the motions becomes quite an educating experience.

Oh, and thank you for holding back, as I am sure another one of our fine community will want to jump right in here.. any second now.. annn-yy-second..

A NIBBLE!

I chose that particular frame because it is distinctive enough to provide

several clues in itself - and it worked!

I didn't use fred's clue. My computer isn't cooperating with me doing a lo of research, but I do remember that THE FARMER'S DAUGHTER has all the credits written on what looks like a wooden rectangle sign
