Always wondered.  Obviously you put some time and effort into this, but if anyone is interested in schedules, why not just go to top of screen and click on Schedules?

It was just a project to preserve the schedules on this thread. If you go to the top of the screen and click on Schedules, you won't be able to go back and look at prior months. In this thread, you can go back several years.

A stack of Elvis movies. Just like earlier with Doris Day, a theme that doesn't have an obvious reason.

I've seen To Be Announced ... Almost as exciting as Koyaanisqatsi, which is like playing Black Sabbath at 78.

I won't be able to list the TBA titles until they actually air tomorrow evening. I will revise the post at that time.

8:00 p.m. To Be Announced...

Jailhouse Rock is my favorite. My favorite of all of the Elvis movies.

(My father is a HUGE Elvis fan and he didn't mind most of his movies.)

It was the one which truly captured his desire to be a serious actor.

I always thought that film was a 'roman a clef' (story with some real life events but names and places changed).

Trivia fact: Back in the early 70s when the third 'A Star is Born' was going to be made, Elvis REALLY was serious about playing the male lead and sadly it got stripped from him.

I'm looking forward to LADY ON A TRAIN. I think it aired earlier in 2018. I was trying to split my attention between it and about three other tasks and I don't think I ended up appreciating it, aside from Deanna's wonderful performances of "Silent Night" and "Night And Day."

It's become an annual tradition for TCM to air LADY ON A TRAIN each December. I still wish they'd show CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY, which Deanna Durbin made in 1944. Her costar was Gene Kelly:
