Yes. I'd even say Alice Faye was someone who worked in musicals at the beginning and at the end of the code. Her first film was in 1934 and she made STATE FAIR in 1962.

Thanks for mentioning "Maude" - wonderful series and the episode on abortion was superbly written - I think it was two episodes
