Before he was Perry Mason, Raymond Burr played a lot of villains. Some examples include his roles in Raw Deal (1948), Pitfall (1948), His Kind of Woman (1951), and The Blue Gardenia (1953).

And, of course, there is on of film noir's premier villains: Dan Duryea, who once explained his success in films as follows: "There's gold in them thar heels."

Basil Rathbone was a great villain in pretty much every non-Sherlock film he made, starting as the evil Murdstone in DAVID COPPERFIELD

Don't forget Rains in the fantastic 1943 version of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

Death At a Funeral

I haven't seen that one. The title seems redundant, but in a comical way. Like MURDER BY DEATH.

There are two versions of Death at a Funeral as well: the 2007 British version, and the 2010 American remake with a mostly black cast. Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage plays the same role in both, though, and it's a doozy.

Other funeral scenes:

The Funeral (1996)

Phantasm (1979)

Frankenstein (1931)

The Loved One (1965)

Amazon Women on the Moon (1987)
