Just finished watching most of the war movie Task Force with Gary Cooper and Walter Brennan. The black and white portion had many film noir aspects with shadows in the back ground and faces in shadow. There was propaganda too to get the message across.

So just what WAS the point of being both in B&W and COLOR ??

(thought I was goin' nutty til I checked film info online !)

I think the color portion meant that things were better and the war was almost over.
