Jake, are you prejudiced against all Muslims by any chance?  You keep posting these nasty messages against them.

This is nothing but a HATE thread. There is no attempt at a discussion.  It is just racist messaging by a deplorable racist.  I wish the moderators would make it disappear.

I guess you last post answers my question above.

Geert Wilders For Breitbart: Let’s Lock The Door To Islam

Cars have been demolished, houses vandalized, people threatened. The Dutch no longer feel free and safe in their own city. When the local radio station interviewed some of the victims and referred to the perpetrators as Moroccans, it received an anonymous letter: “You are racists! Your time will come! I won’t take care of it because I am too old. But our boys are the new soldiers.”

National push needed in Germany to deport migrants with no right to stay: Merkel

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Saturday that Germany needed to make a national effort to deport migrants who do not have the right to stay in the country.

After an influx of almost 900,000 migrants last year, some Germans fear their country is being overrun by foreigners. Merkel has attracted criticism for her migrant policy and her conservatives have lost some support to the anti-immigrant Alternative for Germany (AfD).

After Trump Win, Parallel Path Is Seen for Marine Le Pen of France’s Far Right
12lepen-master768.jpg
HÉNIN-BEAUMONT, France — It was a moment of intense French patriotism on a sunny Friday, Armistice Day. A band blared “La Marseillaise,” the national anthem. Shouts of “Vive la France!” filled the chilly November air. And there, too, was Marine Le Pen, leader of the far-right National Front party, beaming.

Europe at risk of collapse; France, Germany must lead - French PM

"Europe is in danger of falling apart," Valls said at an event organized by the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper. "So Germany and France have a huge responsibility."

In France, opinion polls suggest that the far-right, anti-EU, anti-immigration National Front leader Marine Le Pen will win the first round of the presidential election next April, before losing the runoff.

But Valls said Trump's victory had boosted the chance of an outright Le Pen victory: "What has changed in the world and Europe since Nov. 8 is that it's possible."

Le Front National has kept itself alive for decades feeding on anti-semitism in France. Party founder, Jean-Marie Le Pen has been sanctioned by the French government for being a Holocaust Denier. Reportedly the party has precipitated a number of criminal acts against Jews and Muslims-- including desecration of Jewish cemeteries.

The current leader Marine Le Pen has tried to distance herself from the anti-semitic and racist foundation of the Party by kicking her own father out of it.

The left-wing French parties often have parliamentary coalitions-- Socialists, Communist, Greens excetera.

BUT the French right-wing conservative parties have been very reluctant to associate themselves with the National Front.

French Thatcherite Upends 2017 Race Pledging to Shrink the State

A practicing Catholic, Fillon and his Welsh wife, Penelope, have five children. On social issues, he’s tended to take up positions that were tougher than Juppe’s though not so extreme as Sarkozy’s. He said the government must have no qualms about tackling issues related to Islam, because it is the religion of terrorists.

France has an election coming up.    Therefore anti-Trump type voters (e.g. non-nationalist) in France can do something about it instead of the empty useless protest here in the USA,  often by people that didn't even vote and therefore helped get Trump elected.

Not that I care very much about French politics, but Sarkozy,

who had the most Trump like views on immigration and

Muslims, came in third place. So much for "Trumpism" in

Europe.

Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy has decided, as a result of being soundly rejected by the French voters, that he's retiring from French politics.

He has another similarity to Donald Trump in that he is married to an international model type.

After he became president for the first time, he divorced his current wife and spent a lot of his time wining and dining the model-- much to the Chagrin of the French public, who felt he should have been spending more time being the Président de la République.

So you're saying Trump views are moderate,  since Marine Le Pen is to the right of Sarkozy (and her dad even more far right than her) and Le Pen beat Sarkozy.

Probably a good decision. He always struck me as being on the

sleazy side. The snootiest one I remember was Giscard d'Estaing.

He always looked like he expected people to bow as he went by.
