Normally, I start off each year by posting my updated picks. That doesn't occur until after I've watched everything from each year that I have in my stacks of unwatched movies. I still have 9 more movies from 1939 to watch before I would post my lists with any changes brought about by my rewatching my previous picks and then watching all of the other titles that I hadn't seen. Which would have been in the next 3 or 4 days. The pace of this go-around of Top Ten lists is much slower since many of us have already done it once, twice, or even three times now. I also usually list the top ten box office at the end of my posts, but since you've done that, I won't need to.

But it really doesn't matter, and anyone is free to post whatever they wish, whenever they wish.

Anyone else who wishes to post their 1939 picks, feel free to do so. In fact, if anyone else wants to "take over" the thread and continue on, please be my guest, as I most likely won't be continuing on with it.

Not to be too melodramatic, but a recent health scare has prompted me to postpone my rewatching of my previously chosen titles to if/when I get through all of the stuff I have backlogged to see for the first time.
