Yesterday, in The New York Times, I read a yes/no review - the reviewer really liked it, but found fault with it, too.

It looks interesting - and at least it's expanding they gay experience outside of the usual big city- gay ghetto setting.

A gay bro comedy

Thanks for the link. It's always good to see same-sex relationships in a larger setting than just the sexual. Gay people don't stand or fall on their sexual histories any more than straight people do. It's relationships and the ability to form them which really tell the story. I'm not a huge fan of Bridesmaids, but I wonder if its success may have contributed to the greenlighting of this one about another underserved segment of the movie audience. But, unlike Bridesmaids, it doesn't seem to go for the shock factor; it seems more affable, along the lines of The Broken Hearts Club, the subject of another thread here. Anyway, I'll definitely catch this when I can.
