"...as far as I know David Spade doesn't have a brother named Jack."

Thanks Mr. Mongo, I finally got it figured out. There is no personage named Jack Spade; it's merely the name of Kate Spade's men's line.

Gloria DeHaven would be a swell guest for Mr. Osborne. I would love to hear more of her stories. I had no idea she was in Modern Times! Who was she in that wonderful movie?

Mongo,

I just learned from a New York friend that Margaret Whiting was given a big birthday bash on Saturday for her 82nd birthday. It was at Le Cirque.

No word as to whether Jack Wrangler jumped out of the cake, as he apparently did once in Florida for one of her birthdays.....

Hi,

A very Happy, happy Birthday to Lupita Tovar today!!!!! Imagine - 95, that's great. I hope she is still in good health. She would be a very great interview if she's still up to it, since she knew everybody in old Hollywood....

She was a glamourous lady.

Happy Birthday too to Binnie Barnes, another glamourous lady about town and a great hostess in old Hollywood. I learned to dance from her.... Love you, Bins!! Pip, pip and hooray!! (That's an inside joke between us!).....

Larry
