"Warlock" (1989)

Julian Sands is terrifying as the lead villain in this well made horror movie . Richard E Grant and Lori Singer must stop the Warlock from destroying the world.  Good old fashion make up and effects

Yes it is and it stands up very well -still I would love to see a well done re-make.

Did you ever see the sequels? Warlock: The Armageddon followed in 1993, and Sands returned. He was really the only redeeming quality. And then Warlock 3: The End of Innocence came out in '99 with Bruce Payne in the lead. It was pretty silly, direct-to-video fare.

Julian Sands, I loved being in his company - after all, he was such a great beauty -

and I really enjoyed some of his stranger outings -

"Gothic", "Boxing Helena", "The Phantom Of The Opera" and "Rose Red" -

what might've happened to his career if he had been able to star in "Maurice -
