Socialism at work.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders tells reporters “we’re looking into” the Florida matter of then-prosecutor Alex Acosta not telling victims the govt had made a deal not to prosecute a billionaire accused of molesting dozens of girls.

It was “very complicated case,” she says.

Behind the scenes, military considers Trump's Syria withdrawal reckless.

Graham: "Is it fair to say if this is carried out to the end, we will not have any allies? Would it be fair to say it would lead to a disaster?"

General: "Yes, sir.”

Hogan blasts RNC for ‘unprecedented’ steps to shield Trump from a primary
“It’s not the way we should be going about our politics,” the two-term Republican governor told Politico.

Now, for the rest of the story.  Primaries in S.C. are tax-payer funded as for as the election itself goes.  80% of S.C. Republicans support Trump.  However, primaries in S.C. are open so anyone can vote in either (but not both) primaries.  The GOPers hate it, but with the taxpayers paying much of the costs not much they can do without probably creating a lawsuit.

Also, a primary would expose Trump to a lot of adverse adverse advertising and listing of his many faults, failures and other negatives by both a GOP opponent and the Dems.

From The State (Columbia S.C.) newspaper.

"A lack of opposition to then-President George W. Bush caused S.C. Republicans to call off their 2004 primary. Republicans did the same thing for President Ronald Reagan in 1984. S.C. Democrats did not hold primaries in 1996 and 2012, when Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, respectively, were the incumbent presidents.

“You’re showing the support of your incumbent president” when a state doesn’t hold a primary, said Katon Dawson, a former S.C. GOP chairman.

Another reason to pass on a primary: Statewide elections are expensive, Dawson said."

From deposition of Jeffrey Epstein:

Q: Have you ever socialized with Donald Trump in the presence of females under the age of 18?

Epstein: Though I’d like to answer that question, at least today I’m going to have to assert my 5th, 6th and 14th Amendment rights, sir.
