Pres. Trump will deliver a speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial this July Fourth—and one of the two jets used as Air Force One will conduct a flyover of the National Mall as part of Trump's celebration, a U.S. official confirms to @ABC News.

My favorite Trump quote of the night: “We will come up with the cures for many, many, problems, many diseases, including cancer and others.”

What you need to come up with are cures for your narcissism, megalomania and pathological lying.

There's often little we citizens can do to affect the behavior of a president. But the prospect of Trump's spoiling the celebration of July 4th in Washington is infuriating. It's our holiday not his. Why should we sit back and let him disfigure it? Let's save #AnAmericanFourth!

Okay, Billy. I'll burn two American flags instead of the usual one.

@realDonaldTrump has raised a record breaking $24.8M in less than 24 hours for his re-election. The enthusiasm across the country for this President is unmatched and unlike anything we’ve ever seen! #trump2020 #KeepAmericaGreat

That explains his sky high poll approval numbers.

No need to fret, it won't make a difference, coal has been villainized.  Maybe when a volcanic eruption blocks out the sunlight and solar can no longer generate electricity.

Most of the remaining coal plants are expected to close.  I will EXPECT global temperatures to be a comfy 78 degrees, hurricanes /typhoons /cyclones cease to form, tornadoes a distant memory, droughts no more afterwards.

Progressives / trendies will hold hands and sing Kumbaya shouting success, global warming is gone

Yeah, RIGHT! Tell that to Miami Beach and Manhattan.

look at those images of a very angry, angry schtootz. he's so angry. what is Danny Glover so angry about?

his Hollywood wealth? that in itself is unbelievable hypocrisy.

cory booker has such impressive scholastic credentials and yet cannot muster the dispassion necessary to not turn off the general public with behavior like that?

pathetic.

What IS PATHETIC is Donald Trump, angrily riling up the Deplorables' anger at his rallies.  HE has nothing to be angry about, but he uses possibly legitimate anger of theirs for his own gain.  They are so brain-dead they don't realize they would be directing their anger AT HIM, if they knew the truth about what he has done/not done in his presidency thus far.

Pelosi this morning said that the House should not open an inquiry into the President “unless you’re ready to impeach.” She said the Senate would need to understand that senators either “honor their oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”

George Conway Retweeted Manu Raju

This is like saying that a grand jury should not be empaneled unless it’s ready to indict and a petit jury is ready to convict.

John Dean Retweeted George Conway

Actually, it’s like the petit jury is already seated, and has announced if they indict we have already decided we will not convict — just want you to know. Maybe it would be better to remove both the guy they won’t convict and the petit jury, at the polls, be done with it all!

The day after former Vice President Joe Biden recalled his "civil" and productive working relationships decades ago with two longtime segregationist and racist fellow lawmakers, fellow Democrats are pouncing.

That Biden was in the same Senate caucus as James Eastland demonstrates how much politics has changed since he was first elected -- and how inapplicable that ideologically jumbled party era is to the currently sorted system

John Harwood Retweeted Kyle Kondik

Kyle makes the right point. Biden wasn’t celebrating segregationists. He was celebrating a political alignment and culture that existed when he came to the Senate but no longer does
