Trump and the GOP's socialism = subsidies for fossil fuel industries; subsidies for real estate moguls; subsidies for farmers; subsidies for the auto industry; bailouts for banks; subsidies for big business.  The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.  And some people are so so stupid they invite more of the same.

Considering the national debt, cost of repairing the highway, bridges, water and sewer infrastructure robots are a sensible solution.  Some says the moon and Mars is a jumping off point.  Jumping off to WHERE??!!  Leave space tourism up to private corporations and those rich enough to suck vacuum if anything goes wrong.

time to get out of the Star Trek fantasy world and face reality.

While it may seem like science fiction and unnecessary expense (and I agree we have much more pressing priorities), there is a practical aspect in the long run with Mars exploration.  Basically, since we seem hell-bent  on making the earth another Venus, hot and toxic, we may have to find alternative worlds if the human species is to survive.  And the policies of our current administration is bringing the day of reckoning ever faster.

It will be very difficult to live on Mars. Challenging to say the least. No breathable atmosphere; no water (to speak of);radiation; dust storms etc. On the plus side, everyone will weigh less!

Kaitlan Collins Retweeted Alan Blinder

While announcing, Moore asks, “Why is there such fear, why such anger, why such hatred and opposition to somebody running? Why does the mere mention of my name cause people to get up in arms in Washington, DC? Is it because I’m a staunch conservative?”

In May, President Trump tweeted that he has "nothing against" Roy Moore, but he didn't win the last time, and "probably won't" this time: "Roy Moore cannot win, and the consequences will be devastating"

Trump's Alabama campaign manager: “I’m concerned. As much as I like Roy Moore, he’d have an extremely tough time beating Doug Jones. Right now we need to elect a Republican U.S. senator. I wish Roy would honor the wishes of the president.”

A reminder that the national Republican Party unendorsed Roy Moore after the Washington Post's story on his molesting children came out and then re-endorsed him after Trump backed him and it looked like could still win.

While Dems are salivating at the idea of running against Roy Moore again, it's important to note that it won't be a cakewalk if he gets the nomination. Jones only beat Moore by 1.63% in 2017, and that was without Donald Trump on top of the ticket.

No prez cand runs on "war." No prez intends to go to war. But every prez is faced w/ national security challenges, & then has to make tough, debatable decisions. Running against "endless war" is Straw Man. Guaranteeing no military intervention ever virtually impossible.
