In 123 presidential primary debates from 1996 to 2016, candidates got zero questions about proposals to address sexual harassment, according to analysis from @TIMESUPNOW. The group wants to make sure that doesn't happen this time around.

Elizabeth Warren is proposing a sweeping overhaul of federal elections that would mandate tougher security standards, automatic voter registration, end gerrymandering and make Election Day a national holiday.

NEW: Here’s @ewarren’s newest plan. It would totally transform American elections.

• Federal standards for ballot design and election security.

• Automatic voter registration.

• No more gerrymandering.

• Election Day would be a federal holiday.

I am not an Ernst supporter, but what she is saying is exactly what Republican candidates will say in 2020.  It will connect with many, many actual voters based on what the Dem candidates are saying.

You mean voters who won't vote democrat anyway.  Do the republicans worry about what liberals care about when they are setting their agenda?

and trump can highlight total democrat abstinence from any overtures from him torwards legislation.

in the past democrats accused the GOP of no efforts to aid Obama on anything and they have turned around and done the exact same thing with trump.

trump's success he's had is a tribute to his political tenacity in the face of unprecented democrat stonewalling.

they wanted total economic failure for trump for political reasons despite any greater obligation to the american working class who they claim to care so much about.

You must read as often as your  mancrush Donald Trump.  People here keep replying to your persistent idiotic posts that the Dems  need to work with Trump.  HE Refuses to follow through on their overtures, blows up agreements they thought they had agreed to,etc.  The Effing Moron is pathetic as a leader, and cannot stick to an agreement when his nutcase base thinks he is compromising with the other side.

No, I mean the independent and moderate Republicans who voted for Trump in 2016 and gave him the election.  If Dems keeping pushing farther and farther to left, the swing voters will be lost to the Dem party - and this hurts at the county, state and federal levels.

Another example is the bills introduced in House by "socialist" Democrats and Bernie in the Senate that would cancel all college loan debts.  The independents, conservative and moderate Dems and moderate Republican VOTERS will see this as going too far.  College loan debt is a problem, but the Socialist solution and Warren's solution are not the answer.

Elections are won NOT by Republican or Democratic voters, but by independent voters in America.

So... what type of story in your astute political mind does Twump loose? We are all curious.

Ones that focus on his incompetent handling of foreign policy issues mostly.   On foreign policy it has been one failure after another and foreign policy is where A President has the most authority and where Congress has given up too much of theirs.

Note that character-issues didn't prevent enough voters from voting for Trump in 2016.   Piling on more,  especially things that occurred way before Trump became President,  will not change that.

You mean the one's who thought Hillary Clinton was too far to the left or just thought she was a very bad candidate?

I would suggest that whoever the democrat candidate is that everyone stop worrying and get behind him or her or say goodbye to your country as you now know it.  You say that Sanders and Warren could never get their agenda passed so what are you worrying about?  Show some unity with everyone in your party not just the middle of the road old f arts.

Who is piling it on?  Trump by his own doing.  You don't hear democratic candidates crowing about Trump the rapist do you?  It's news.  Get over it.

You obviously still have not watched the interview.  Nowhere in the promotional materials of the book is there any mention of Donald Trump.  She explains everything that you are accusing her of.

And what exactly is your point (above).  Rape is okay if it is done by Donald Trump?  Or you believe him.  This isn't one of his ten thousand plus lies.  All 22 women who have come forward are liars.  Or maybe you just don't like women.

Robin Abcarian writes a sound article related to this:  If you believe Clinton's accuser,  why would you dismiss Trump's?.

It makes the point you make;  that sexual assault isn't political and that everyone,  especially partisans,  should be consistent.   Most of the article is to shame Christians that attacked Bill Clinton (as well as Hillary as an enabler),   that do NOT also attack Trump.     I agree with this;  be consistent regardless of the party of the accused.

So I agree here;   Where I differ is that I choose to generally ignore these type of accusations made toward a politician during the off-season (when there is no election pending)  or when advised the accusation has nothing to do with politics.     I'm consistent regardless of politics.

We were referring to the democratic candidates were we not?  I thought that you were suggesting that they should not be concentrating on this sort of thing - and as far as I can see they are not.

If I focus on it - who cares.  It's news and it's more smut about your president.
