Urging the GOP to "get tougher," President Trump said Republicans could have impeached Obama "for many different things" but “they never even thought of impeaching him.”

Good morning. These four Trump tweets are all about the same Fox & Friends segment.

Basically a lock that Trump's tweet two mins earlier re: "lynching" was also a reaction to Fox. Matches with segment responding to his evidence-free claim on Hannity that Schiff told the whistleblower what to say.

Not to mention the ten million plus in makeovers that traditionally go to these locales.

Asked if President Trump's tweet comparing the impeachment inquiry to "a lynching" is appropriate, Rep. Jim Jordan told @mkraju, “The president is frustrated.”

Donald Trump is frustrated he can’t get away with his criminal activity in the WH anymore, like he has all his life.    Although the GOP treat him like he is above the law, the rule of law is now being applied.

New: Per source in the room, Bill Taylor’s opening statement was 15 pages long and prompted “a lot of sighs and gasps.”

Another source says the sighs & gasps were in reaction to Taylor describing “how pervasive the efforts were to tie an investigation of Burisma and 2016 election ‘interference’ to a White House meeting and aid being released.”

Another frustration for Trump is that he is very limited in being able to fire people he does not like, such as Mulvaney.  Problem is nobody with a spark of ability wants to work for Trump.

!!! Bill Taylor’s opening statement: “During that phone call Ambassador Sondland told me that President Trump had told him that he wants President Zelensky to state publicly that Ukraine will investigate Burisma and alleged Urkainian interference in the 2016 US election.”

This is why Trump hates career civil servants: they are not loyal to him but to institutions, laws, and procedure, and they care enough about them to create paper trails that could incriminate him.

Sondland told Taylor he made a mistake earlier by telling the Ukrainians that a WH meeting with Zelensky “was dependent on a public announcement of the investigations.”
“In fact, Sondland said ‘everything’ was dependent on such an announcement, including security assistance.”

He went further.  Trump's strategy was to get this public statement from Zelensky to "box him in."  To make him a team player.

Wow. From Bill Taylor’s statement: “Ambassador Sondland tried to explain to me that President Trump is a businessman. When a businessman is about to sign a check to someone who owes him something, he said, the businessman asks that person to pay up before signing the check.”

US special envoy for Syria Amb. Jeffrey on whether Turkey's invasion of Syria targeting the Kurds was inevitable: "It was a very real possibility Mr. Chairman, it was not inevitable"

Jeffrey: "Senator, let me explain this, if US troops had been given the order to stand and fight against a NATO ally, I think you're right, the Turks may have thought twice. They have never been given that order."

So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights. All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here - a lynching. But we will WIN!

A high-tech lynching or just a dial-up one?

Reading Amb. Taylor's testimony, you realize that Trump and his gang are going down because they actually believed their own ****. They actually believed that the conspiracy theories they were peddling were real.
