Trump's Biggest Whoppers

So Republican waste justifies Democratic waste? How about less waste in general, and more constructive action. The Democrats in Congress will never get the Republicans to care about Trump's sexual indiscretions, and since the Republicans control the show, it's a moot point. Any hearings will be nothing but pointless political theater that achieves nothing. The Democrats need to concentrate on winning elections and crafting platforms and legislation that provide a clear and concise alternative to the current Republican agenda. But that's much tougher than making outrage tweets.

It probably would cost less than Trump's golfing excursions and weekend trips to "The Southern White House"...

Again, what is your point? To illustrate that Republicans waste money? No ****.

Yesterday, @realDonaldTrump cut a program that reduces homelessness among veterans.

Today, we teamed up w/ @VoteVets to uncover the many other ways the Trump Administration is quietly attacking America's vets: https://democracyforward.org/sidebar/trumps-quiet-attack-americas-veterans/

Now That Al Franken Is Gone, Democrats Need to Hold Hearings on Trump

I like this idea.  The more awareness of Trump's misbehaviour the better.  And it would bring more shame on the party that is protecting him.  Any other job in the world and he'd be gone.

Yeah, but who isn't aware of Trump's misbehavior? And do you think, at this point, post-Roy Moore, that the Republicans have any shame?

No, but there are new voters coming of age every year.  I only hope that they have more sense than the third of our present population that put these cracker jacks into office.

Flynn flipping—and Trump accidentally admitting to obstructing justice on Twitter—seems to have had an effect. It doesn't look like he has written any of the (far fewer) tweets in recent days. Perhaps it has finally dawned on him how much trouble he is in.
