Number of Trump supporters are tweeting and writing me to say that they believe he didn't make the comment -- BUT it would be totally OK if he did.

Most of them even voted for him because they liked his vulgar language and the rude way he talks.

That must feel so embarrassing and uncomfortable for those African-Americans to be around Trump right now.

Why?   Again, how Trump speaks can't be defended but clearly most immigrants leave where they are at to go to another country because the other country is 'better': (e.g. more economic opportunities,  better education system,  freedom of religion,   gay rights,  women rights,    etc....

I discussed this last night with my wife's 'in their 30s' southern Italian relatives:  they have all moved to either Milan or other countries (Britain, Germany),   and laughed when asked why because the answer was soooo obvious;   southern Italian is a s-hole (as it relates to getting a good job, and starting a family).

E.g. TPS was designed to provide temporary visas to people due to unrest (e.g. gang violence in El Salvador).  These people weren't seeking refuges in the USA because their country was paradise but because THEY felt it was  %#@^#!

Regardless of whether the places are good to live in or not, the comment was very rude and crass. The comment also comes across like Trump mocking their homelands. Previous presidents at least had the dignity to not denigrate other nations and peoples. Another thing is he should have known his comments would come across as racist when he said them and that it would upset people from there, not to mention if the US has to ever ally with an African country like they did just a few months back, to fight terrorists. Trump speaks down to his own citizens and alienates us from potential allies.

Uh,  the 'we are all equal' meant that we are all BORN equal.    Clearly no one is 'equal' in terms of education,  skills,  languages known,   etc.....

Note that Canada uses a merit-based points system.     I guess Canada has been run by a bunch of Trump like racist for decades.

You are talking out of your hat once again.  Yes, there is a merit based system.  That is just one element.  It doesn't necessarily mean you have to be college educated but you have to fall into a job category that Canada deems they need.  Linked migration as Trump refers to it is very big.  Why separate families?  Most of Canada's immigrants these days are from the Indian sub-continent or China.  The Caribbean used to be big.

Canada also agreed recently to take in Mexican immigrants if the US refused to take them.

Yes, and Canada takes in refugees which is another thing altogether.

The bottom line is that Canada has a merit based system and that one of the "merits" is having a relative already in Canada.    E.g. one gets points for their education level.  One gets points if they are fluent in English or French.  One gets points if they have a relative already in Canada.

I totally support that.    (but if I misunderstand this point system,  please educate me,  but I'm getting the info from a link someone here shared a few months back).

But here in the USA,   'linked migration' is often the ONLY criteria.

As for 'why separate families?:   Uh,  it is the people that wish to immigrate that are separating their own families.     E.g. if a man immigrants to another country he is the one that decided to separate from his wife,  children, parents and siblings etc....

Anyhow,  I'm not against linked migration for immigrants that come to the USA legally, (e.g. spouses and children of course,  but siblings parents \ grandparents,  I'm on the fence on, and beyond that,  no).   But I don't think the USA should reward illegal immigrants that are granted amnesty,  the ability to bring over additional family members.

One of them, Tom Cotton is the dude who was supposed to take over the CIA when the current chief moved over to replace Sessions.  He is one who stonewalls the Russian investigation and tries to blame everything on Clinton.  A real Trump stooge.

The Democrats seem intent on having people and drugs pour into our country from the Southern Border, risking thousands of lives in the process. It is my duty to protect the lives and safety of all Americans. We must build a Great Wall, think Merit and end Lottery & Chain. USA!

Trump cancels UK trip citing Obama's 'bad' embassy deal

"US President Donald Trump has cancelled a visit to the UK expected to take place next month, citing his displeasure at the new US embassy in London he was due to inaugurate.

In a tweet, Trump said the new embassy building was part of a "bad deal" as he blamed the Obama administration for selling the previous one in Grosvenor Square for "peanuts".

However, the relocation plan was first reported when former President George W Bush was still in the White House, in 2008.

...In a statement on Friday, London's mayor Sadiq Khan said that Trump's planned visit for next month would have "without doubt have been met by mass peaceful protests".

"It appears that President Trump got the message from the many Londoners who love and admire America and Americans but find his policies and actions the polar opposite of our city’s values of inclusion, diversity and tolerance," Khan said. "Let's hope that Donald Trump also revisits the pursuit of his divisive agenda."

It can't be any worse than how embarrassed trump's Jewish aides must have felt standing there during trump's Charlottesville press conference in trump Tower when he said that there were good people on both sides - - implying there were good Nazis.

Remember that was the demonstration with the tiki lamps, as the white supremacists /neo-Nazis were chanting:

"Jews will not replace us."

Jim @Acosta on CNN just said, "Earlier today the President underwent a physical exam...but Across Washington and much of the world...there is less concern about an update on the President's health, and more about the condition of his soul, tonight"

You're a career intelligence analyst from NYC. You work hard and do your job well. You become an expert in hostage negotiations. Eventually you get to brief the President of the United States.... And his response is "Oh you're Asian! Let's get the Asian lady to do Asia stuff"

Uh-oh-- This reminds me of what trump did to April Ryan,  the DC Bureau Chief of American Urban Radio Networks and a CNN Political Analyst when, during a White House Press Conference, she asked him a question last year about meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus.

Ms. Ryan is a professional journalist and reporter in the White House Press Corps. But after she asked trump about his meeting with the Black Caucus-- he takes a good look at her and tells her that she should set up the meeting. She's totally taken aback. However,  She tries to explain to him that her job is working as a journalist for who employes her, not setting up meetings for the White House.  But he keeps on insisting that since she's black, she OUGHT to know those black people in Congress, so she oughta just set up the meeting.

That evening on CNN Ms. Ryan became the story and she was insulted that trump did not take her professionalism seriously because she was not a white person.

Ms. Ryan has been a member of the White House Press Corps since 1997 and is a member of the National Press Club.  She has also served on the board of the White House Correspondent's Association.

If this was 1958 or even 1968, you could almost excuse that kind of ignorance.

But trump is so backward that in any other position, aside from president, he would be the laughing stock of the world. LOL

Uh-oh! The Serial Racist strikes again!
