There is a movie, b&w, with either Jennifer Jones or Loretta Young, from the '50s, wherein the woman's husband comes home for bedrest after some sort of accident and she has to take care of him. From what I can remember he writes some sort of incrimating letter that is accidentally mailed, and the main plot of the story is she spends her whole housewifely day trying to avoid neighbors and catch up with the postman. I thought it was called "The Letter" but the match I have found is for a Bette Davis movie from the '40s - not it. Please help!! Thanks!
