I have a very nice 27" TV. I Paid for. It is big enough for My Family and I.
LETTER BOXING ROBS US of up to 1/2 of Our screen.
My Family and I all agree. We would rather see If It is Dale Evans or Roy on the Horse, and We really do not care about the rock off to the right or left of the screen.
If We want to watch want a wide screen Movie We will go to a Theater.
The wide screen format is the worst thing to happen to home entertainment since the invention of television.
Every one does not have the room or the money to spend on a full theater size Television. Even if they wanted one.
It is ridiculas for My family to need a 60" TV just to see who is talking on the tube
without Binaculars at 8 Feet from the set!
We love TCM, but every time a movie comes on in LB or wide screen format, WE turn the channel. No Matter how bad we want to see the Flick.
