The DVD of Rebel Without A Cause is not only glorious widescreen but restored to its pristine beauty...a masterpiece ...see this version at once...the extras are great as well.

CAMELOT is also one of my favorite musicals...it's light years better than the stage play, which i saw with Richard Burton and Julie Andrews...The play is a mess and the story doesnt work very well....The film filled in holes in the story and also gave us a very lovely Vanessa Redgrave who might not have the voice of Julie Andrews but has an earthiness and believability that poor Julie never managed to capture... Yes this one is a keeper.

Try taking a look at "How to Marry A Millionaire" in pan and scan...You would think that there was only one and a half beauties in it. One scene with Lauren Bacall and her millionaire sitting in a booth at a restaurant all you can see is a lamp and two noses...until you see it in widescreen you have no idea who the people are. If a film was photographed in widescreen I want to see it that way or NOT at all.

Favorite comic westerns...Number one would be "The Scalphunters" with Burt Lancaster and Shelly Winters..it gets richer and funnier with each viewing...number two would be "The Ballad of Cable Hogue", Sam Peckinpahs only lyrical comedy...or only comedy...Jason Robards, Stella Stevens are wonderful int this mesmerizing little gem.
