I am looking for the name of a movie from the 40's or early 50's...it is NOT Stolen Life. ( It was about 20 years ago, I was in the hospital and a bit out of it so don't remember too much about it.) The plot--twin sisters, one wealthy, one poor. The poor one murders the rich one and takes her place. The part I remember the most is how she needs to sign checks and knows that her signature will not match so she heats the fireplace poker and grabs the red-hot end of it, thus maiming her writing hand.
