Ok, I am new to these message board. Right now I am trying to find out if I search for a movie on this database, when can I find out when Turner Classic Movies will have it showing? Do I always have to check monthly??? Thank you!

I am hearing impaired and I am now starting a library of my favorite movies, but they have to be CC in order for me to fully understand and enjoy them . I have the DVR recording system from my local cable company and if the showing says its CC I will schedule it to record it,,,now... when I go to record these on VHS tapes,,,I noticed some of the movies are not CC even though they say CC. I was just now noticing soemthing when I was looking at next months movie schedule,,,that they also say CC & CC letter box format,,,,what does letter box format mean??? Perhaps that is what I am missing when it says CC and some of them wont be or go CC for me. Can someone please expalin the difference to me and if my TV can do letter box format and what I need to do. Thank you.
