  1. I'm rather disappointed that Patti didn't get a TCM Remembers segment. It's been many months since anyone has had one these who has died. Can't even recall who the last person was?
  2. Hibi, Yes! It is Pola Negri in *SHADOWS OF PARIS (1924).*
  3. Err, this one isn't that tough guys. One of the biggest female Stars of the Silent Era.
  4. No, it's not Bebe Daniels, but a pretty good guess. I'm not sure of the man? I'll have to check. May not be who I took it for at all.
  5. I love the score to THE PILGRIM. All of it having been composed by Chaplin. With some memorable melodies. I think it's among his best scores. However, I agree that the singing and lyrics to BOUND FOR TEXAS I could do without. This was part of THE CHAPLIN REVUE compilation in the 50's. There are still some scenes missing over my old Playhouse Video VHS from the 80's. But this new Janus films transfer was probably the most complete I have seen on TCM.
  6. Yes! Congratulations! It is Leatrice Joy! Married to John Gilbert and their daughter Leatrice Gilbert Foutain was still alive the last that I knew. Althougfh she had a stroke last year. If able, maybe she will be at the screening of the new restoration of THE BIG PARADE at the TCM Classic Film Festival in April. God Willing. And I'm still waiting for TCM to give the screening some mention on the air.
  7. No, but your right her daughter does have the same first name.
  8. No, not Priscilla Dean. She was a Universal Star. This actress was in allot of De Millie pictures at Paramount. Again, her daughter with the same first name, is still with us.
  9. So one one has gotten mine yet? Here is another photo of the same actress.
  10. No, no, I'm still talking about my photo. The Woman having Green Eyes. When I said that her daughter was still with us, I thought that would give it away. Guess not.
  11. Yeah, I suppose that it could be a very young Lana. Not a bad guess.
  12. > {quote:title=Kid_Dabb wrote:}{quote}Here's somethin' to chew on in the meantime.. Any ideas? > > This gal has a really pretty face. Could bit be Marjorie Woodworth? One of the great underrated B-Actress beauties of the 40's.
  13. Nope, it's not Mildred Davis or Evelyn Brent. I'll get another photo. Major Clue, her daughter is still alive. Or at least she was the last that I knew. She said her Mother had Green Eyes.
  14. Dabb, Nope. Afraid not. Isn't Bessie Love either. I'm checking to make sure that it is who listed as though. Not fully convinced at this point. Was married to another famous Star for a time. Very popular Paramount Star in the early and Mid 20's.
  15. Fred, Dabb, Yeah, I thought that it might be tougher, because of the hairstyle. Good work by you both. How about this one?
  16. Let's see if anyone can figure out this one? Actress looks very different than normal. Maybe we can deduce who the two male actors are in the still as well?
  17. Dabb, Yeah it's Connie. I posted the wrong photo. That was to easy.
  18. Blast, Betty still had her name on the URL. This one does not have.
  19. Trouble is, I don't see where that looks a thing like Nancy Carroll? So try this photo right here. *"Gam Right I Say"*
  20. Yes, it is Alice White. I don't know about Dixie Dugan or not? This still is apparently from the likely lost feature NAUGHTY BABY (First National, 1928).
  21. Nope, it is not Clara Bow. Wasn't sure that I had not already posted this photo last weekend. Glad that I saved it for awhile.
