I love the score to THE PILGRIM. All of it having been composed by Chaplin. With some memorable melodies. I think it's among his best scores. However, I agree that the singing and lyrics to BOUND FOR TEXAS I could do without. This was part of THE CHAPLIN REVUE compilation in the 50's. There are still some scenes missing over my old Playhouse Video VHS from the 80's. But this new Janus films transfer was probably the most complete I have seen on TCM.

If able, maybe she will be at the screening of the new restoration of THE BIG PARADE at the TCM Classic Film Festival in April. God Willing.
