It is from Enesco Gallery, and is a complete set as shown I believe.

This is just wonderful. Colorful set of delightfully Sassy Toy Flapper figures at the Beach. And hey check it out, they all look like Colleen Moore! You gotta love it!

musicalnovely, milkshaker, etc,
Well, personally I think it's one of the very best things that I've ever done. Not perfect, I goofed where the cheeks meet, and a few other places. But the eyes don't look remotely weird. In the first place the eyes do glisten in the original photos, and this is often the case. However, I suspect that most of you have monitors where the brightness and contrast settings are turned up about 30 to 35% higher than mine are. And that likely makes quite a difference. You may also have graphic cards that render the image quite differently. Along with numerous other factors. Such as not haveing downloaded the latest Adobe updates and such
There is No Black and White Original. This is all that I had to go by. It's been in the slave since February of 2009. It is tinted a violet hue. Just the way that I found it.Looking almost like a capture still from a video. I made the teeth look as good as anybody else is ever going to achive with my software. But by all means, if you think you can do better, more power to yah. Let's see you do it!

musicalnovelty,
Yeah, I've seen Ralph Graves in several things, but did not recognize him.
Here is another still I did a while back of both Girls. They are not real easy to tell apart in this photo. Any idea as to the movie? They look so precious together.

musicalnovelty.
My friend Mike Duffy found this Lobby-card. from 1928. That's Sally O'Neil, but I have no idea who the man is?

-
Here is another pic of Sally O'Neil I worked on around 2 years ago. No problems with eyes on this one as you can see.

*Sally-"My Little Darling"*

*musicalnovelty,*
*Please note, I was not at all happy with the Sally O'Neil photo in the least.*
*Unfortunately, you can only do so much given the quality of the graphic you have to work with. If there is a better resolution version of the same picture around I have yet to find one. I went back to look for the original, and it is gone too. The eyes don't look good at all. I'll agree. I debated if I was going to post the pic at all. But I loved the outfit. The black and white was quite dark, and it was much smaller dimensions. I had to increase the size a fair amount. So you will lose some detail in the process. Besides the eyes, Sally's mouth is slightly open, and you should be able to see some teeth. You can't given the lipstick appeared so dark. Not much you can do about this.*
*The angle of the eyes are very difficult to follow. Here is the thing, I think allot of the negative comments come from people who have never attempted this type of thing before, and they apparently are under the impression that it is like some color by number process or something. Select this color, and the computer automatically feels it in. Well, that isn't how it works. It is much more complex and demanding than that.*
*I have no controll over what other people are seeign based on their own monitor settings. My Brightness and Contrast at turned down well under 50% capacity, because of my own weak and sensitive eyes. It also matters it you are using Cool, Warm or Costume Colors settings on your monitor. So when someone says that there is a glowing effect, this might be because I lighten the area around te pupil so it is not so tan or gray. I usually start out tinting the complete photo a amber cast before anything else. This is done to tackle much of the skin-tone in advance. It is much more difficult to follow the outline of the body were the skin is bare later if you don't do this ahead of time. Eventually, after you have finished the other objects the Skin-tone generally falls in to place.*
*Hey, if Milkshake Mama or anyone thinks they can do better on the Sally O'Neil pic, improve the eyes, etc, than be my guest.*
*OK, here is the image in Monochrome, or Black and White.*

OK, this is a revised version? See if you like it better than the previous effort?

And here is another shot from the same photo session.

Wendy, This is one of the more sensual Gish portraits I have ever seen.

Wendy,
This is a fun pic. Wasn't very sharp, so not easy to work with.

Wendy, ugaarate, etc,
Glad you like the posts. Brown eyes? Oh no! Olive Thomas eyes were violet like Liz Taylor's!
Anyone know who these two people are? The girl is Mondo Good Looking! Wow! Had the still in a stray file for a long time and it was not labeled. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
Update, it is apparently of a young Mary Astor with Pat O' Mally from the early to Mid 20's? I'll try to determine the movie.Perhaps *THE FIGHTING AMERICAN (1924)?*

*Mary Astor and Pat O'Mally in "The Fighting American" (1924)?*

Bronxi,
OK, I finally looked at the clip. Some of the footage I had not seen before. Though portions were used in Thames Hollywood over 30 years ago.
ugarrate,
This photo is not finished, there are a few mistakes. It is apparentlyof Martha Mansfield. I found it among a bunch of photos of her. However, it looks more like Marion Nixon? Or even Marion Davies. Not exactly sure who it is, or the film that it originated from.

*Martha Mansfield-"Princess Of The Book"*

Rickey Ticky Tavi,
OK, Here's your *Olive Thomas!*

-
Wendy,
I don't know what that green glob is with the yellow outline. It covers up most of her parasol. *NELLIE* is one of the films that turned up in that Russian Archive last year. Although, I don't know how complete the surviving print is?
Never heard of this one. Starrs Olive Borden.

Wendy,
Here are a couple more Lobby's for *SALOME OF THE TENEMENTS.*

Not very nice comments. Err, Don't know why you don't like the Una and Harold. The photo was done by Bob Fells, not by me. I think it looks great. Your monitor settings must be way off. Or maybe you have had one to many Milkshakes? Vilma's eyes don't glow on my monitor either. In the first place you can only see one eye, and just barely.

Rickey,
LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT was not lost until after the 1965 MGM Vault fire. Which also destroyed the only surviving 35 Millimeter materials of TOWER OF LIES, and THE ROAD TO MANDALAY. Along with may other Metro Goldwyn, and MGM Silents. Some footage from 9.5 millimeter has since turned up of MANDALAY, but obviously because of the print reduction it is not great quality. A reel or two of WHILE THE CITY SLEEPS is still missing too. But there were missing reels to THE UNKNOWN, and LAUGH CLOWN LAUGH, and that didn't prevent the films from being shown on TCM. Really in the this case the story is not affected much by the absent footage. So it's disappointing for that reason that WHILE THE CITY SLEEPS hasn't emerged from the vault, and been shown on TCM.

Wendy, Rickey,
Here is a duo-color Two Page spread for Tod Browning's famously lost *LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT (1927).*

Don't remember if I had posted this before. From the oldest surviving Two-Color Technicolor production of *TOLL OF THE SEA (1922)* which Starred a very young Anna May Wong.

The July 1925 Issue of Photoplay had the now completely forgotten May Allison pegged as one of the Top 10 most beautiful actresses of the screen. Undoubtedly those very large, expressively clear eyes had a allot to do with the selection. Pretty lady.

ugaarate,
Yes THE MARRIAGE CIRCLE boasted an All Star Cast, with Florence Vidor, Monte Blue, Marie Prevost, Adolphe Menjou, Creighton Hale, and I forget who the other girl was. Great movie! Used to be on DVD from Image.
I just posted a Rudy in the other Thread for Bronxi!

MN,
Thanks for the link. This was just a still I saved from the Golden Age of Hollywood board where it had been posted there. However, it says there are actually 16 figures available, yet I don't see anything to click on that gives you info on the complete set, or how much that it costs? I imagine these are fairly expensive collectibles. Not really toys, but ceramic.
