  1. Greetings MaryS- Gene Raymond, you say? Thanks for the info? I guess all those films were all in the '30's. I couldn't find any common thread for 1940's films. I realize that all three actresses's output was less in that decade, than in the '30's, but they were more defined by their noirish work (imo) and I was hoping that one actor had the luck to star opposite them. I guess that they were sometimes at different studios hurt a guy's chances. Best wishes, Skip
  2. Greetings! Being a big fan of 1930's and 1940's actresses Bette Davis, Joan Crawford and Barbara Stanwyck, I was wondering: Did any leading actor ever play opposite all three of them (in separate films, of course)? The best I can ascertain was that Henry Fonda was the only fortunate fellow. Dennis Morgan was in films with all three ladies, but not in the actual lead opposite Davis. Any other actor come to mind?
