thanks, I heard that, and I will have to find the book about it( it's out of print)I wrote to robert stack and he wrote back that he did not have any parts with wally in "A DATE WITH JUDY". in color, w/ liz taylor. Wrote Mickey rooney, but no answer.Everyone is gone, accept liz taylor,jane powell, margart o"brian,(she has nothing good to say either.etc,etc,gloria swanson said he was invited to every party in hollywood. ONCE.i DON'T GET IT.I guess he was a P...K to people.

can somebody help me find some information on rita gilman beery, and the adopted daughter carol ann beery, what was their life with wallace beery. All I can find out is that rita had a lesbian affair with varonica lake, and carol ann played bit parts in movies. What happened after 1949? What did all of his family think of him? Noah beery Jr. (rockford files) william beery, Noah beery sr. etc. Mickey Rooney liked him. One out of million. even hitler liked dogs.If they made a movie of his life what would it say?

I've been a fan of wallace beery for 40 yrs. and with all the research I've done, in hollywood I guess he was one of the worst people on this planet, besides, al jolson, and hitler. What happened to him and why did he treat people so badly. Who were his personel friends, did he have any?

thanks everyone. I know about carol ann his adopted daughter, rita beery his wife played in china seas, When he died his wife was living in the house in back of his house in another smaller house, and married a close friend 2 weeks after his death. In the 30's his plane crashed with everyone on board except him, his house burnt down and he had investment in two banks and the crash wiped him out, but he went back to work and when he died there was 2 million left.What did noah beery jr. think of him, jean harlow, margaret O'brian said he ate all of her lunches, what happened to carol ann, rita, how about william beery?What did all the actors he started with think? J. carol Nash. clark cable, lewis stone,robert stack, elisabeth taylor,mickey rooney,james gleason on, and on and on. but no real story of who he was. Why no kids, Im thinking of putting together a history of his life. lets do it. I need help. Maybe a sceen play. then un independent film company.QUESTION who could play him today as an actor.

help! I've been a fan for 40 yrs, and keep finding out more about how much of a very much disliked man in hollywood. But his movies and craft show a great talent. But he was a drunk, beat up gloria swanson, killed ted healy, had no kids of his own, flew plans, died worth 2 million. had a resort that was a hearst like type for his friends (what friends) all the kid actors hated him. But not one of his movies lost money. WHY

Yes, he his my favorite, I have films like, flesh, tugboat annie, the mighty barnum,hell divers, this man's navy, thunder afloat, many more, I have a picture of his grave, and some material about how he killed one of the three stooges, ted healy, and other infor. keith edwards
