  1. This a Bette Davis film titled BEYOND THE FOREST (1949). She co-starred with Joseph Cotten. This was in fact her final film for Warner Brothers. Hollywood legend has it that she couldn't wait to finish the film and end her long term contract with the studio. She apparently didn't see eye to eye with Jack Warner and didn't speak to him again until 1950 when she was asked to take the role of Margo Channing in ALL ABOUT EVE, which was originally set to star Claudette Colbert, who was unable to begin filming due to an injury on a previous film.
