  1. OK, thanks for the info. Lets go to the "suggest a movie" site and bombard them requests for the film so we can all see!
  2. I can't tell you the name of the film. But, I would like to watch it. I found it delightful that you would hide behind the couch as a child to watch films. I used to hide behind a chair in the formal living room and watch late night films on the TV in the library/family room. Also, in our area, there was an afternoon (black/white) horror film on every day. My sister and I would pile pillows around our small bodies on the couch, cover our heads with old blankets containing holes and watch the films through the holes. Oh how we would scream! Thanks for the memory!
  3. All polls are bias. people who answer will be swayed by the question, what they think you want to read or hear, popular social thought of the day, those who take the time to answer the poll will not give a true cross section of a valid polling, and so on. So, no poll is valid. Sorry, but it's true, all polls are bias. Just ask a stats prof. Don't get mad and say nasty things to me, thanks. Message was edited by: SheltiesRule1
  4. Scrooge (Albert Finney) Oliver (Oliver Reed as Bill Sikes) On A Clear Day (You Can See Forever) Meet Me In St. Louis The Muppet Christmas Carol and on and on
  5. Jimmy Stewart- Any of his films save westerns Timothy Dalton- Wuthering Heights- Because of him, I just had to read the novel. Thanks Mr. Dalton. Robert Redford- Still looking good. David Strathairn Colm Feore and the guy who played Mason on Dead Like Me (the TV series). Oh so many the list could go on and on!
  6. Yes, Everyone thought that American Beauty was greatest thing they ever saw and I was told I just didn't like Spacey's character going for the teenage girl. No, I didn't think it was anything special and I had already see it all before. What exactly did Spacey do in the film that made him oscar worthy? He threw a plate of spaghetti at the wall and acted really mad. Crowe deserved the Oscar that year for The Insider. Spacey or Cheadle deserved the Oscar last year for Beyond the Sea or Hotel Rwanda. Fox did not deserve the Oscar for Ray.
