Heartstrings

It's old, black and white. I don't remember who is in it. It made me cry. An elderly couple is being seperated because their children can't afford to keep them together. On their last day they spend in NYC they look at a car in a car dealership and have dinner in the hotel where they were married. At the end the husband, I believe leaves on a train. Any help appreciated.
