  1. It's old, but that doesn't make it a classic. You'd think that TCM could find better movies to add to their schedule (I also question the idea of airing the notorious flop "The Wiz").
  2. Eraserhead, definitely. Also like to see some Ralph Bakshi titles as well (see my other thread on this).
  3. Any fans of his work here? Ralph's movies are just about my favorite animated films, ever. "Fritz the Cat," "Heavy Traffic," "Coonskin," "Wizards," "The Lord of the Rings" and "American Pop" are all true animation classics.
  4. I can't control what everyone tries to discuss on a forum, but, no, I'm not interested in discussing mainstream children's cartoons of today - this would be for classic animation, whatever that entitles.
  5. I don't get it - there's a forum devoted to the discussion of films shot in widescreen, but there's no animation forum? Why doesn't this website have one?
  6. That's from "Marihuana," another movie along the same subject line. I didn't find "Reefer Madness" very funny. Somewhat amusing due to the heavily exaggerated portrayal of marijuana use, but not nearly as funny as it's made out to be. I think it's probably funnier to pot smokers, although the recent restored DVD release did improve my viewing experience greatly (commentary by Mike Nelson of Mystery Science Theater 3000 fame).
