The film I am trying to find the title for takes place in the early 60's I believe. It focuses on a high school boy who loves to dance, and ends up on an "American Bandstand" type tv show. He falls for a girl on the show, who is in love with another guy. This girl is the daughter of the local sheriff, whose nickname is Tiny. TV show is replaced with another called the "Psychedelic Shack" and girl runs off with the guy she loves, with the help of the central character. Film ends with "the girl next door" whom he has hardly ever noticed, coming over, and playing a Bob Dylan record. Any idea what this movie title is? Thanks.

Yes, that is it. Thanks. Unfortunately, it appears it is not available on DVD, at least not yet. Hopefully it will be soon.
